Bergen Insomnia Scale for Adults: The Psychometric Features of the Turkish Version

Objective: Insomnia is an important health problem affecting physical, spiritual and social well-being of individuals negatively it should be early diagnosed as well. The purpose to appraise the psychometric features Turkish version Bergen Scale (BIS) for adults.
 Methods: A total 495 adults were included in methodological study Turkey. form BIS was designed within scope conducted adolescent sample. Construct validity appraised with exploratory, confirmatory factor analysis, convergent discriminant validity. Internal-consistency test-retest analysis used reliability.
 Results: According results explanatory, analysis; identified that showed a two-factor structure daytime symptoms (α=.85) nocturnal (α=.80). Item-total correlations found ≥.59 correlation .83.
 Conclusions: assessed valid reliable.
